Offering empowerment to the next generation
The women who offer classes are versed in each of their fields. Their wisdom is golden and offered from their heart's passions. All the women who are producing the program are available to offer wisdom and guidance and any support needed. Safety is important at all times. Openness and willingness to participate are requested. We meet each young woman where she is, offering inspiration and helping her access all parts of herself, allowing her to reach the next level of where she wants to go and who she truly wants to be.
Bernadine Rosso
Bernadine is founder and creator of Womanhood Inspirations. Mother of two living in Santa Cruz county, she is successful in the healing arts profession, while hosting workshops and retreats for women on self care, self reflection and education on modalities of healing arts, growth and transformation. Backpacking since the age of twelve, rock climbing for nine years, wilderness first aid training and training in the Wilderness Leadership Course with Bay Area Wilderness Training (bawt.org) She is well versed in outdoor equipment and skills. Womanhood Inspirations was birthed from her sense of what had been missing in her own adolescence and what she has found in the healing arts and education for personal growth. Her intention is to empower the next generation in the face of the global changes ahead.
Terry Nail
Terry is president and founder of Children Are Our Future, a non-profit organization with a focus on leadership and community transformation. She specializes in coaching, consultation and training's, providing creative and challenging opportunities for children, youth, and the adults in their lives through experiential education. She is an instructor with Bay Area Wilderness Training.
Susie Sakkestad
Susie has worked with children of all ages for 21 years. She is a Child Care Center Director, Teacher and Mentor for parents, staff and children alike. She is inspired to facilitate a program where heartfelt choices and self confidence are offered combined with her love of mentoring and nature. She has facilitated women's gatherings and retreats with Bernadine.

Dana Powell, Ed.D.
|
Dana provides organizational and fund development consulting to Womanhood Inspirations and Children Are Our Future. She has enjoyed 20+ years in nonprofit management with an emphasis on educational program development, implementation, and evaluation. She holds degrees in Visual Arts, Museum Education, and Learning and Instruction, and serves organizations in the arts, education, government, nonprofit, and philanthropic sectors.
