Scholarships are available for anyone who has an interest in participating in our programs, but lack the funding to pay their own way. Applying is easy, just contact us and send your personal information, including your age and address and we will mail you an application. Pamela J. McClendon, age 62, passed away on April 19, 2007 surrounded by her loving family. Pam led a vibrant full life and she was such a beautiful, sweet, caring, strong, giving, positive, fun and energetic woman in our lives. She was a leader and a mentor to us all. Pam's smile and zest for life filled the hearts of her family and all who knew and loved her.
Pam was well known for gathering people together and she enjoyed cooking delicious, homemade, healthy meals for friends & family. She was an accomplished life long swimmer. She studied Chinese herbal medicine and shared her knowledge to heal others. She loved to laugh, walk on the beach, hula dance, make quilts and read. She was an avid gardener and loved to grow roses. Pam enjoyed playing musical instruments and loved to travel. She was a graduate of San Jose State and a life long learner who enjoyed trying new things.

Pam passed suddenly in the first year of our program workshop series. Susie, Pam's daughter, is at the core of founding and creating the Womanhood Inspirations, rites of passage program. We admire who Pam was as a woman expressing her creative nature and adding to the quality of everyone's lives.
